UNF Campus Master Plan
UNF is embarking on a year-long process to create a Campus Master Plan. This exciting effort will provide a roadmap for physical improvements across the campus over the next decade. The plan will explore the enhancements and expansions necessary to implement our Strategic Plan and position the University for future success.

Analysis
During this phase, the planning team will review relevant data, analyze existing campus infrastructure and strategic growth goals and meet with several stakeholder groups including a University appointed steering committee, departmental focus groups and students to discuss the future of UNF and how the Campus Master Plan can support it.
Concepts
During this phase, the planning team will take what they learned from the provided data and in engagement discussions to create concepts. Several interactive workshops with University appointed groups will occur to refine and evolve the proposed iterations.
Action Plan
During this phase, a draft plan will be reviewed and goals, objectives and policies that align with the State University System (SUS) requirements will be prepared. Additional workshops, focus group meetings and community listening sessions will be held to help further develop the final plan that will support UNF's strategic goals.
Final Plan
During this phase, the final plan will be presented to the Steering Committee and Board of Trustees. The final plan and report will be updated as required following these meeting for submission to the University and Florida Board of Governors for approval and implementation.
About the Plan
The Campus Master Plan will determine the facilities and campus improvements needed to achieve UNF's vision, including new buildings, renovations of existing buildings, indoor and outdoor space enhancements, transportation and wayfinding upgrades, and many other physical improvements to campus. The plan will look at needs related to academics, student functions, housing, athletics, research, natural areas, and all aspects of University life. UNF has contracted with planning and design consultants DLR Group to facilitate the planning process. Throughout this process, we will engage students, faculty, staff, and the community in the conversation to understand needs, explore different scenarios, and build consensus around future improvements.
